The American Way Works, the 1944 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("'A V-mail letter from the kid next door is the neighborhood news. Today we fight together, work together, weep together, cheer together. Today, we're proving - The American Way Works!'") featuring an image of neighbors looking at a letter. Note that V-Mail (short for Victory Mail) was a hybrid mail process used by the United States during the Second World War as the primary and secure method to correspond with soldiers stationed abroad. To reduce the cost of transferring an original letter through the military postal system, a V-mail letter would be censored, copied to a film roll with other letters, shipped, and then printed back to paper upon arrival at its destination.

Condition: very good. There is tattering, discoloration, and small paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
