If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has something we have occasionally seen on other linenbacked posters that had paper loss in the bottom border. This one had paper loss in the left of the bottom border that eliminated the copyright date. Apparently it was linenbacked in the days before the Internet, and the person who did the linenbacking incorrectly thought that the movie was from 1941, and so they put that date after the word "Copyright", but actually, "1939" should have been there (of course, any other restorer could easily repair this mistake without re-backing the poster).

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss in the left of the bottom border, which included the copyright date (see above). It also had many dot stains around the edges, and some scattered in the image. It also had extra folds, creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of most foldlines. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The person who backed the poster did a pretty good job given its many defects, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects (and the copyright date was restored wrong; see above). Please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this poster.
