L'Enfant Sauvage (released in the U.S. as "The Wild Child"), the classic 1970 Francois Truffaut French feral child melodrama ("Not a man... Not an animal..."; about a boy raised wild in the French woods, and the scientist who tries to "civilize" him; similar to the basic premise of Tarzan but based on a true story from the 1700s) starring Jean-Pierre Cargol (in the title role as the "wild child"), Francois Truffaut, Francoise Seigner, Jean Daste, and Annie Miller

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The photobusta was never folded. It had a few faint creases, scuffs, and tiny paper loss in the center of the top border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
