An Original Vintage English Movie Trade Ad (measures 17 1/4" x 22" [44 x 56 cm]; 1 page) (Learn More) The White Angel, the 1936 William Dieterle military medical hospital war nursing biographical melodrama ("Her heart was too big for one man to possess! One world was too small to share all her love!"; "With Ian Hunter and Donald Woods in the true story of humanity's greatest heroine... Florence Nightingale"; about Florence Nightingale, the famous nurse) starring Kay Francis ("as Florence Nightingale"), Ian Hunter, Donald Woods, Nigel Bruce, Donald Crisp, Henry O'Neill, and Billy Mauch NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare trade ad that we have never auctioned before! It is a great two-page trade ad taken out of a The Cinema English trade magazine. Studios would run these elaborate 2-page ads in issues of this magazine, and they often had images not found on any of the regular movie posters (either English or U.S.). This 2-page trade ad was removed from a 1936 issue of this magazine, and it will look incredible displayed on the new owner's wall. The back of those two pages have text or ads for other movies from that time, and we have not pictured those back pages because the primary interest to bidders is the great two-page color ad, which measures 17 1/4" x 22". Condition: good to very good. The ad has some creases and scuff marks scattered in various areas (see our image). There are some pairs of staple holes with slight discoloration along portions of the spine. Learn More about condition grades
