Date Sold 2/23/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A 1983 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures approximately 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 6 supplements, and 5 stills) (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, the 1956 Alfred Hitchcock kidnapping spy espionage conspiracy crime thriller ("Alfred Hitchcock's greatest suspense Adventure!"; "The flash of a knife... the crash of cymbals! Cues for murder - excitement - suspense!"; "A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!"; "Based on a story by Charles Bennett and D.B. Wyndham Lewis"; "Screenplay by John Michael Hayes") starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Doris Day, Brenda De Banzie, Bernard Miles, Ralph Truman, Daniel Gelin, Reggie Nalder, Richard Wattis, Alexis Bobrinskoy, and Christopher Olsen. Note that this is a re-make of Hitchcock's 1934 English film of the same name, but with quite a few differences and it includes Doris Day singing "Que Sera, Sera", which became a huge hit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and eight of the stills (less than eight if the presskit has less than eight stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: very good. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition. Sometimes the folder that contains the stills has some minor wear on it, and you should be able to see that in our super-sized image. Learn More about condition grades
