One year later, Saban left LSU for the greener pastures of the NFL when he was named head football coach of the Miami Dolphins. However, he only lasted two mediocre seasons before returning to his first love, college football. In 2007, Saban accepted the head coaching position of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide where he has won three BCS National Championships!
