The poster had three vertical folds down the center with many scuffs and creases by those folds. There is a black CIC distributor snipe over the "Metro-Goldwyn" and a white piece of tape over the "Mayer". There were some tiny tears and scuffs around the edges with tiny paper loss near the middle of the left border. There were some other creases and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
