Zanuck; about a New York stage actress who gets a protege who secretly schemes to take her place, both on stage and off; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Bette Davis (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as Margo Channing), Anne Baxter (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Eve Harrington), George Sanders (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Addison DeWitt), Celeste Holm (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Gary Merrill, Hugh Marlowe, Thelma Ritter (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Marilyn Monroe, Gregory Ratoff, Barbara Bates, and Walter Hampton. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this poster before, and the last one sold for $482! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. Approximately 8 1/2" of the top and bottom edges has slightly darkened, however, as can be seen in our image, this appears to only affect the blank borders of the poster, and not the image itself, except just slightly at the outer edges of the image (see our image). There is a thin strip of tape remnants along the upper edge under the large blank border, and that covers a tiny amount of the top of the image and Marlowe's hair. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a relatively simple linenbacking the very rare poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
