An Unfolded German Special Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) The German Grand Prix (Grosser Preis von Deutschland) was a motor race that was held since 1926. The race has been held at only three venues throughout its history; the Nurburgring, Hockenheimring and occasionally AVUS. The race continued to be known as the German Grand Prix, even through the era when the race was held in West Germany. Because West Germany was prevented from taking part in international events in the immediate post-war period, the German Grand Prix only became part of the Formula One World Championship in 1951. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has creases and tears of varying lengths (approximately 1" or less) along portions of some edges with small paper loss at upper left and many of the tears are backed with clear tape. It is otherwise in generally nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
