Artist: Georges Allard Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this partially French movie! Also note that this French one-panel measures 47" x 62 1/2". Condition: good to very good. The poster had an area of paper loss approximately 1" wide by 10" long at the top center of the poster, running into the first "n" of "Cannabis" in the title. There was a semi-circular tear to the left of that area running through the top of the "C". There were small areas of paper loss at many crossfolds and many creases, tears, and a few tiny areas of paper loss on some foldlines. There were some smudges, scuffs, and pairs of staple holes around the edges of the image and some creases, smudges, and tears in the borders. The poster was backed on to a thin linen, and a slight attempt was made at restoration, but it was not very good. The poster has been handled roughly, and there are many creases in the top of the vertical foldline, both the poster and the linen underneath it. While I could imagine someone being content to display this funky poster just as it is, I would think most collectors would prefer to have it properly re-backed. After re-linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and there will not be many areas with significant paint restoration. Learn More about condition grades
