This movie is most memorable for having the feature film debuts of both Humphrey Bogart and Spencer Tracy, and also for being one of legendary director John Ford's first sound films! Note that Humphrey Bogart was as much the star of this movie as Spencer Tracy, but he was fourth billed, while Spencer Tracy was top billed, and we are not sure why! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that items from this early John Ford movie (which featured very early performances by Spencer Tracy and Humphrey Bogart!) are BEYOND rare! In all our years of auctioning, we have only auctioned a pressbook and five stills from the first release of this movie! THE FIVE PREVIOUS STILLS WE AUCTIONED SHOWED EITHER BOGART OR TRACY, BUT THIS GREAT STILL INCLUDES THEM BOTH! Condition: very good. There is a tack hole near the center of each border, with some creases and faint smudges around the edges. There are a few tiny bits of surface paper loss in the lower right edge of the image background, and there is some unevenness to the emulsion down part of the right of the still, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light (see our images).
