An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 8 1/2" x 13 1/4"; 12 pages) (Learn More) Tales of Beatrix Potter (released in the U.S. as "Peter Rabbit and Tales of Beatrix Potter"), the 1971 Reginald Mills English family ballet dancing musical fantasy ("with Dancers of the Royal Ballet"; "In association with The Royal Opera House Covent Garden") starring Alexander Grant, Brenda Last, Julie Wood, Frederick Ashton, and Ann Howard. Note that this is NOT an animated movie, but rather elaborate masks were created of the classic Beatrix Potter characters, and people not only wore those masks while performing, but they also had to dance intricate ballets while wearing these large clumsy masks! Condition: fine. This pressbook is in excellent condition! It is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported.
