In the Women's Army Corp, the 1940s U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster encouraging women to enlist in the Women's Army Corp. Note that this poster features an image of a woman in uniform with different photos of her in the background working a counter. The Women's Army Corps (WAC) was the women's branch of the United States Army. It was created as an auxiliary unit, the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) in 1942 and converted to an active duty status in 1943. The WAC was disbanded in 1978, and all units were integrated with male units. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good.
