An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style C One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Rosebud (released in other English-speaking countries as "Operation Rosebud"), the 1975 Otto Preminger Palestine terrorist crime action thriller ("An Otto Preminger Film"; "Based on the novel by Joan Hemingway and Paul Bonnecarrere") starring Peter O'Toole, Richard Attenborough, Cliff Gorman, Claude Dauphin, John V. Lindsay (former Mayor of New York City, in an acting role!), Peter Lawford, Raf Vallone ("as George Nikolaos"), Adrienne Corri, Amidou, Yosef Shiloa, Brigitte Ariel, Isabelle Huppert, Lalla Ward, Kim Cattrall (19 years old and in her very first movie!), Debra Berger, and Francoise Brion NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Uldis Klavins Condition: very good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). There was a tape stain in the top right corner and a diagonal crease in the bottom right corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border, to allow it to more easily fit in a frame).
