An Unfolded Commercial Poster (made to be sold directly to the public; measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) 20th Century-Fox 75th Anniversary, the 2010 limited edition commercial poster celebrating the 75th anniversary of 20th Century-Fox Studios. 16 of the posters each focus on a specific great Fox film, which are Star Wars, Alien, Zorba the Greek, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Independence Day, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Walk The Line, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Ice Age, Patton, All About Eve, Big Trail, MASH, The Last of the Mohicans, Cleopatra, and X-Men 2 (the 17th poster is a generic poster of the Fox "searchlights" logo). These limited edition posters were made available to collectors with proof of purchase of a 75th Anniversary 20th Century-Fox DVD and they have been out of print for some time! Artist: Jaraad Virani (for Neuron Syndicate) Important Added Info: This poster is one of a set of 17 posters that was created by Warner Bros in 2010 to commemorate their 75th anniversary. Sixteen of them spotlight a different classic 20th Century Fox movie (and the 17th has a giant Fox logo), and they were distributed as described above, and quickly became unavailable! One would think that they would be bought and sold more frequently, but in fact we rarely are consigned these posters (we have only auctioned a total of 43 of them, which is less than three of each style). When we have auctioned them they have sold for as high as $731 (for the Star Wars style), and several of the others have auctioned in the hundreds, and only a very few of them have auctioned for below $40 each. We are currently auctioning 13 of the 17 different posters that were created (in 13 different auctions), including the most desired styles! Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and tiny tears and/or tattering around the edges of the poster and there a few light creases and faint scuffs scattered in various areas (more so around the edges).
