French National Railroads (Societe Nationale Des Chemins De Fer Francais or S.N.C.F.), the French travel poster ("For traveling in France the railway is the right way"; "Visit France by train"; "Discover France by train") made by the S.N.C.F to encourage travel by the French National Railroad. Each poster features a wonderful image or art of one of the many locations that the railroad visits. The SNCF was founded in 1938 with the nationalization of France's main railway companies.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. There is a small amount of tattering and creasing around the edges of the poster. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well.
