Kern's music!"; "Music by Jerome Kern"; about an American dancer in Argentina who wants to perform at a nightclub, but the owner, who wants his daughters to marry in age order, insists that the dancer must court his older daughter, but naturally, he prefers her younger sister, who is played by gorgeous Rita Hayworth) starring Fred Astaire, Rita Hayworth, Adolphe Menjou, Isobel Elsom, Leslie Brooks, Adele Mara, Xavier Cugat & His Orchestra, Lina Romay, and Miguelito Valdes NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. There are unfortunate stains in both of Hayworth's eyes, her left cheek and mouth in the large image of her at top left. There are many creases and tiny tears on some foldlines and pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. There is a semi-circular tear starting at the middle of the left border, and circling down to between the "A" and "S" of "ASTAIRE". Someone put clear tape on the back of many of the tears, but otherwise did not attempt any restoration. Certainly, a talented restorer could remove the tape and perform restoration to all of the above defects, and it will afterwards display well, but there will still be a substantial amount of restoration within the image, so please do not bid on this poster unless you have carefully read the above, and can accept its defects or are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
