Strayer family vacation screwball comedy ("A happy hour with the Bumsteads today is better than two weeks vacation with pay!"; one of the long running series of movies "Based upon the comic strip created by Chic Young") starring Penny Singleton (in the title role "as Blondie"), Arthur Lake ("as Dagwood" Bumstead), Larry Simms ("as Baby Dumpling"), Donald Meek, Danny Mummert, and Daisy (the dog, as Daisy Bumstead!)
