The poster had creases, smudges, and tears along several foldlines, and smudges in some of the solid white background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration, especially in the white background areas, and the poster was somewhat roughly handled after linenbacking, resulting in some creases in both the poster and the linen in the top center white background area.
