An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Headless Ghost, the 1959 Peter Graham Scott English teen fantasy horror thriller ("Head-hunting teenagers lost in the haunted castle!") starring Richard Lyon, Liliane Sottane, David Rose, Clive Revill, and Jack Allen. Note that this appears to have definitely been an English movie, released in the U.S. by AIP. There are two oddities about this. One is that the IMDb gives the U.S. release date as being BEFORE the English release date, and also, we have never seen even one item from the English release! This is likely be because it was specifically made to be a shown as a double-feature along with Horrors of the Black Museum. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Reynold Brown Condition: good. There is a great deal of crayon writing on the back of the poster (some theater used the back of this poster to create a homemade one-sheet for "House Boat"). The crayon writing very slightly bleeds through to the front. I believe that once the poster is linenbacked, the crayon can be removed and will not affect the front, but I make no promises! Other than the writing, there are many pinholes, creases, smudges, and small tears around the edges of the poster, but nothing very major, and the type of defects that would virtually vanish during the linenbacking process.
