Jailhouse Rock, the classic 1957 Richard Thorpe rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) crime prison romantic musical ("His first big dramatic singing role!"; about a young man who is sent to prison for manslaughter, and while there he is helped to become a singer/musician by an older convict, and after he is released, he becomes a major rock star!) starring Elvis Presley ("At His Greatest"), Judy Tyler (who sadly died in an auto accident before the release of the film), Mickey Shaughnessy, Dean Jones, Jennifer Holden, and Anne Neyland

Condition: very good. 3/4" tear in the top crossfold as well as a 1 1/2" tear at the left end of the middle horizontal fold and some 1" and smaller tears and areas of separation around the edges of the poster; 8" slightly diagonal creases at the left of the middle horizontal fold and in the left corners as well as minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so around the edges)
