A Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 5 1/4" x 7 3/4" [13 x 20 cm]; 268 pages) (Learn More) The Spider, the 1928 Albert Lewis Broadway murder mystery stage play production revival (written by Fulton Oursler & Lowell Brentano) starring John Halliday (as Chatrand the Great), Anton Ascher, Jack Bennett, John Burkell, Thomas Findlaym and D.J. Flanagan Important Added Info: Note that in the case of this book, it is not from a MOVIE, but rather from a stage play! Apparently, Grosset & Dunlap started these kind of books soon after the turn of the 20th century, making them from stage plays and then, when movies came along, they started doing them from movies (we did not know that before seeing this book). Note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT HAVE ITS ORIGINAL DUST JACKET, BUT RATHER IT HAS A REPRODUCTION DUST JACKET. We pictured both sides of the REPRO dust jacket, so that it will be that much more clear that it is not original. PLEASE DO NOT BID THINKING THIS BOOK HAS AN ORIGINAL DUST JACKET. Condition: good. The original dust jacket is missing and has been replaced with a REPRODUCTION dust jacket (see above). Learn More about condition grades
