An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Chad Hanna, the 1940 Henry King romantic love triangle circus melodrama ("Printed in the Saturday Evening Post under the title of 'Red Wheels Rolling'"; based on the novel by Walkter D. Edmonds; about a country bumpkin who joins the circus in the mid-1800s, and he tries to win the heart of a beautiful horse rider, but she rejects him, but he finds love with a country girl who has also joined the circus, and he manages to save the circus from bankruptcy as well!) starring Henry Fonda (in the title role as Chad Hanna), Dorothy Lamour, Linda Darnell, Guy Kibbee, Jane Darwell, John Carradine, Ted North, Roscoe Ates, and Ben Carter. Note that this movie was made the same year as "The Grapes of Wrath", in which Fonda and Jane Darwell memorably appeared together! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
