An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Uptown New York, the 1932 Victor Schertzinger New York City romantic love triangle medical doctor bad girl melodrama ("A human story of a girl who was -- just human -- by the author of 'Bad Girl', Vina Delmar"; about a young man in love with a woman, but after he gets his medical license, his parents want him to marry "better" to a woman of their choosing, but he disagrees) starring Jack Oakie, Shirley Gray, Leon Ames (billed as "Leon Waycoff"), George Cooper, Lee Moran, Raymond Hatton, and Henry Armetta NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, scuffs, and smudges across the top foldline with minor wear in the other foldlines. There were some creases, smudges, stains, and tiny paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer pretty much left alone the blank border defects, likely rightfully assuming they will not show when the poster is framed.
