An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Trinidadian Movie Poster (measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) the 1970s Trinidadian stock poster ("From the Master of Shock A Shocking Masterpiece!"; "Alfred Hitchcock plunges the screen into a new - and altogether different kind of excitement!") created for use by theaters showing Alfred Hitchcock movies. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area at the bottom. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they were sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. Most collectors consider them more valuable with a printed snipe attached, or with an overprinted snipe area. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. There are faint stains along the foldlines and edges (more so in the lower horizontal fold) and there is writing in the lower blank area. There are areas of separation along some of the foldlines.
