An Original Vintage Unfolded German Stage Play Poster (measures 27 1/4" x 39 1/2" [69 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Kolosseum (literally translates to "Colosseum"), the 1929 German stage play production (based on the works of Karl Hundeshagen). Note that this poster features Roth art of a well-dressed woman holding a fan. Kil's Colosseum was a dance hall, the largest in Munich at the time, founded in 1872 by Franz Kil. It offered an entertainment program tailored to the zeitgeist of the time, consisting of variety, artistry and cabaret as well as boxing and wrestling matches. The first carnival redoubts with up to 4000 visitors took place in the large dance hall of the Colosseum. Artist: Roth Important Added Info: UPDATED 12/08/2017: Note that we have updated the Condition information. Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It had a small tear in the left border and there is a piece of tape on the back that bled through to the front. There were small tears down the entire right border, and someone put tape on the back, which bled through to the front, and the tape is separated from half of that border.
