An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Varsity Show, the 1937 William Keighley all-star musical ("Rah Rah"; "From an Original Story by Warren Duff and Sig Herzig"; "Music and Lyrics by Dick Whiting & Johnny Mercer"; with a "Finale Created and Directed by Busby Berkeley"; ) starring Dick Powell, Fred Waring ("AND His Pennsylvanians"), Ted Healy (most famous as the person who started The Three Stooges; they were first billed as "Ted Healy and his Stooges"; he let them go on their own, hiring replacement "Stooges", but that did not work out well at all!), Priscilla Lane, Rosemary Lane, Walter Catlett, Johnny Davis (who was known as "Johnny Hot-Note Davis", because of his trumpet playing), Buck and Bubbles (Ford Washington Lee and John William Sublett), Poley 'Frog-Voice' McClintock, George 'Spanky' McFarland, and Sterling Holloway NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair. There is scattered staining throughout the card with surface paper loss in a few areas, and a 6" long vertical tear in the lower right border that almost detaches a piece of the border.
