An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Modern Love, the 1929 Arch Heath & Jack Foley mistaken identity romantic comedy ("Trapped in his own wife's home!"; "Story by Beatrice Van"; about a pretty young dress designer who was married, and she keeps that hidden from her boss because he will fire her if he finds out, but then the boss invites an important client to dinner at her home, and her husband pretends to be a waiter for the dinner, and that's only the beginning of this wacky comedy!) starring Jean Hersholt, Kathryn Crawford, Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts; Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts), Edward Martindel, Anita Garvin, and Betty Montgomery NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Jean Hersholt AND Kathryn Crawford! Hersholt put "To the VPW boys". Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signatures to likely be authentic. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7" x 9" [18 x 23 cm].
