An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Misleading Lady, the 1920 George Irving & George Terwilliger silent romantic love triangle comedy ("based on the play by Paul Dickey & Charles Goddard"; about a construction worker who goes to a fancy party and is tricked by a high society woman to think she is interested in him, and to pay her back, he takes her to his mountain lodge, where he chains her by her ankle and has various friends pretend to be crazy people, to scare her, and of course, this causes her to fall madly in love with him) starring Bert Lytell, Lucy Cotton, Frank Currier, Stephen Grattan, and Ray Allen. Note that this was a remake of a 1916 movie based on the same play, and it was remade again in 1932 with Claudette Colbert in the lead role. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good. Much of the black tape is missing and there are some stains and smudges on the back of the slide (likely they can be cleaned). Learn More about condition grades
