An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Teaser One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Return of the Jedi (now known as "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi"), the classic 1983 Richard Marquand outer space science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure epic sequel ("Return to a galaxy far, far away!"; "The Saga Continues"; "The movie everyone's been waiting for!"; written and produced by George Lucas) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse (as the man in the Darth Vader suit), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Frank Oz (as the voice of Yoda), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), and Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: Note that just about everyone knows that this movie was ultimately titled "Return of the Jedi", but that it had the original working title of "Revenge of the Jedi". Teaser posters were made with the working title, and they were made in both a dated and undated version. There are many reproductions of both versions, but we have carefully examined this poster, and we are 100% certain that it is an original undated "Revenge of the Jedi" teaser one-sheet.Note that this undated version is FAR more rare than the dated version! Condition: good to very good. The poster was tri-folded only and it has some fine surface paper loss along portions of the three horizontal foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this time period). There are light creases scattered in some areas, but there are tiny indentations scattered through the center of the poster (several are at lower left in Vader's helmet, a few tiny ones are in his left helmet eye, and then the remaining ones are lighter and less noticeable in a few areas of his helmet and battle art at right). The defects are not very noticeable or distracting when the poster is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance and it is otherwise generally in pretty nice condition, but after some proper restoration the rare poster would look great!
