It is best known for the introduction of Superman in its very first issue in 1938 (by teenagers Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegel), and he also appeared on the cover, and it remained a leading comic book for many decades. Important Added Info: Note that because this is an earlier issue, we have pictured many pages of the comic book in this auction, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of those images are displayed above.
