Das Madchen mit den schmalen Huften (literally translates to "The Girl with the Narrow Hips"), the 1961 Johannes Kai German romantic melodrama starring Claus Wilcke, Hannelore Elsner, Demeter Bitenc, Barbara Valentin, and Dorothee Parker. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. Note that when this movie was released in Turkey, Barbara Valentin was pictured full-length on the poster, and billed above the title as "Sex Bomb Barbara Valentin". If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this Turkish poster, and that was 9 years ago! Because it top bills Barbara Valentin, it is definitely possible that it is a re-release, perhaps from the 1980s (at a time when Miss Valentin gained fame for her association with Queen, and she lived with Freddie Mercury). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold wear. It had some smudges, creases, and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
