Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this one-sheet, and those were 29 years ago and 30 years ago! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds, with pretty minor wear on the folds. It had a 3" tear in the center of the top border and some smudges and slight darkening in the white areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone mounted the poster onto a thin linen with no excess, and they did fold restoration, but after it was backed, it acquired a tear and small paper loss in the lower right blank border, and a stain in the white background below the "R" of "WISER". If I owned this rare poster, I would surely have it removed from the thin linen and properly backed, and afterwards, it will display really well, but bear this in mind before bidding.
