An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 39") (Learn More) Traveling Saleslady, the 1935 Ray Enright sexy businesswomen screwball comedy ("Those Gold Diggers are back again! in 'Traveling Saleslady'"; one of eight movies Blondell and Farrell made together; in this one, they are a pair of sexy girls, one of whose father is a toothpaste manufacturer, and the daughter invents "cocktail" toothpaste, which tastes like whiskey in the morning, martinis at supper time, and champagne at night!) starring Joan Blondell, Glenda Farrell, William Gargan, Hugh Herbert, and Grant Mitchell. Note that Joan Blondell and Glenda Farrell appeared together in "Havana Widows" in 1933, where they played a pair of good-hearted showgirls who get in trouble. They re-teamed for five more movies in 1934 and 1935 (playing different characters, but in the same sorts of situations), all of which were quite popular at the box office! Important Added Info: This Swedish poster measures approximately 27" x 39" and it was never machine folded! Condition: very good to fine. there were small tears and discoloration at the extreme right of the bottom of the right blank border; someone put some clear tape on the back of the poster to mend the tears and it has bled through to the front; similarly, there is a piece of tape on the back of the right side of the top blank border, also to repair tears and also bleeding through slightly; other than the above defect (which I consider to be minor, because it is entirely in the blank border), there are minor creases and a few tiny tears around the edges of the poster, but overall it is in quite nice condition!
