An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) John Agar was an actor from the 1940s to the 2000s, primarily in westerns (he is best remembered for his roles in John Ford westerns) and horror/sci-fi. Some of his movies include: Fort Apache, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Sands of Iwo Jima, Tarantula, Revenge of the Creature, and The Mole People. He was married to Shirley Temple for five years, and they had one child, and after they divorced, he remarried and he remained married until he passed away in 2002 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Agar! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Condition: very good. There is light rippling at the bottom of the still, caused by the snipe glued to the back, but it is more "felt" than seen. Learn More about condition grades
