An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Broken Hearts of Hollywood, the 1926 Lloyd Bacon silent Los Angeles California movie making acting romantic love triangle melodrama (about a former female Hollywood star who leaves her husband and child to return to acting, but because she is older, she can't get parts; her teenage daughter follows her and tries to become an actress, and she meets a teenage boy who feels the same way; after many adventures, including the teenage girl sleeping with a star actor to get a role in his new movie, the star is murdered by the girl's mother, but she is acquitted when the story is told) starring Patsy Ruth Miller, Louise Dresser, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. (as the teenage would-be actor), and Dick Sutherland. Note that star Douglas Fairbanks Jr. was just 17 when the movie was made, and yet he received third billing after a handful of low-billed roles (of course, the fact that his father was Douglas Fairbanks Sr. likely had nothing to do with that!).
