Downey's Pound, the 1970 Robert Downey Sr. (father of Robert Downey Jr., who also wrote this movie) allegorical fantasy ("Some of your best friends..."; "A new kind of film by Robert Downey ['Putney Swope']"; where humans play the role of animals in a pound as they wait to be gassed and their fantasies are shown in flashbacks; after one sees the movies of Robert Downey Sr., and one imagines growing up with him as a father, the problems of his son seem VERY understandable!) starring Joe Madden, James Green, Mariclare Costello, L. Errol Jaye, Carolyn Cardwell, Charles Dierkop, and Lawrence Wolf

Important Added Info: Note that the back of these cards were overprinted with a solid rectangular border with interior dimensions of 8" x 10". This was commonly done in the 1950s so that old lobby cards could be re-used as "frames" for 8x10 stills. These ARE original lobby cards.

Condition: good to very good. There is a printed frame on the back of each card and tape or tape stains in each corner of the frame where an 8x10 was once attached but the tape has no effect on the front.
