Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Tippi Hedren ("With Fear Tippi Hedren, Melanie Daniels)! The consignor is a very knowledgeable collector and he tells us that although he did not receive this autograph in person, he is reasonably certain that it is genuine. Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus an image of a two-page spread from inside of the pressbook (we do NOT picture any supplements or heralds, if there are any included with this pressbook), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Finally, note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: very good, NO CUTS. The cover of the pressbook has become detached at the bottom staple and there smudges on the back. The pressbook is otherwise in pretty nice uncut condition!
