An Original Vintage International Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 4 supplements, 4 stills, and 1 cassette tape) (Learn More) Less Than Zero, the 1987 Marek Kanievska Beverly Hills California drug addiction melodrama ("It only looks like the good life."; based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, though apparently it has little to do with the book!) starring Andrew McCarthy, Jami Gertz, Robert Downey Jr., James Spader, Tony Bill, and Nicholas Pryor NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a presskit that was created for the international release of the movie. All of the items are contained in a thick plastic sleeve rather than a folder, and there is a letter printed on the front of the clear plastic to "journalists", and there is also a cassette tape in a flap at the top of the plastic sleeve that says "FOREIGN PRESS MATERIAL". We have never seen a presskit like this before (we were consigned this one and two others, and we are auctioning all three in separate auctions). Also note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and eight of the stills (less than eight if the presskit has less than eight stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: good to very good. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition.
