An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (measures 14" x 16") (Learn More) Who Done It?, the 1942 Erle C. Kenton detective crime murder mystery screwball comedy ("Their newest fun-riot...!"; "Original Story, Stanley Roberts"; about two dumb soda jerks who dream about writing mysteries for radio shows; they go to the station to pitch their ideas, and end up in the middle of a real murder investigation when the radio station owner is killed) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Patric Knowles, William Gargan, Louise Allbritton, William Bendix, Mary Wickes, Don Porter, and Ludwig Stossel. Note that in the movie, Abbott and Costello wear deerstalker hats, because of their association with legendary fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and measures 14" x 16". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 14" x 22". Condition: good. the entire top blank area has been trimmed and the card now measures 14" x 16"; there are diagonal creases in the top center of the image and creases and smudges across the bottom yellow area and the bottom border This window card is in "lesser" condition (it is clearly in less than "very good" condition, and may be all the way down to "fair" condition, as we are selling a collection of early window cards that were found inside of a wall, and those all have water stains and other defects, which should be easily seen on our large images)! This window card has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right. In addition, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above, as some of these defects may not be all that visible in the images. We know that some collectors could accept this window card's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this window card if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored.
