She became a major brunette sex symbol in the mid 1950s, and has stayed in the public limelight ever since, including having five husbands (although she is still married to her fifth husband, and has been for the past 17 years). Some of her movies include: Island in the Sun, Rally 'Round the Flag Boys!, and Seven Thieves. Her sister Jackie Collins was a writer of popular "trashy" novels based on the lives of the rich and famous! As of 2021, Joan is still alive at the age of 88! Important Added Info: Is it just me, or does this still seem to "cross over the line" for what was acceptable for a 1960s mainstream actress?
