An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Wanda McKay (born Dorothy Quackenbush) was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: The Merry Widow, The Golden Eye, and The Royal Mounted Patrol. She was crown Miss American Aviation in 1938 and she was married to musician Hoagy Carmichael from 1977 until he passed away in 1981. Wanda passed away in 1996 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was used in French speaking parts of Canada, but it was printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So it is an original still from , but it was printed for use in parts of Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good.
