A Group Of 8 Original Vintage Photographic Transparencies (measure 4" x 5" [10 x 13 cm]) (Learn More) The Man Who Came to Dinner, the 1972 Buzz Kulik made-for-TV family relationship writer romantic screwball comedy (a remake of the 1942 classic movie and earlier stage play; about a famous man visiting a family who slips and falls on their sidewalk, and pretends to not be able to leave, and he terrorizes the family and changes their lives) starring Orson Welles, Lee Remick, Joan Collins, Don Knotts, and Marty Feldman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these are "studio-issued" transparencies. What are they? They were produced by the studio but are not the camera original. They are very high quality and were created in quantity by the studios and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). A clear border around a 4x5 transparency denotes duplication from a negative source, a black border denotes duplication from a positive source. Each of the transparencies is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed each and scanned them, so that bidders could see just how high quality they are). They will be sent to the winner of the auction in their plastic sleeves. The transparencies come with two studio-created snipes that explain about the movie and also a printed NBC sleeve for the transparencies (see our images). Condition: very good to fine.
