Raker Endfield") English romantic love triangle truck-driving crime melodrama ("Thirteen desperate men on a suicide run - with a man-hungry redhead's dangerous curves at the end!"; about an ex-convict, who gets a job working for a trucking company, and he discovers the owners are cheating the drivers, and he wants to expose them, but this is complicated by his growing interest in the boss' pretty girlfriend) starring Stanley Baker, Herbert Lom, Peggy Cummins, Patrick McGoohan, Sean Connery (in his second credited movie role!), Jill Ireland, William Hartnell, Wilfrid Lawson, Sydney James, Alfie Bass, Gordon Jackson, Wensley Pithey, George Murcell, Jill Ireland, Marjorie Rhodes, Ronald Clarke, and David McCallum. Note that this is justifiably one of the most famous "B" movies of all time, both for its tight suspenseful plot and for its remarkable cast of English actors, who all went on to major careers! Also note that this English one-sheet measures 27" x 39 3/4" [69 x 101 cm]. Condition: good. There is rippling scattered in portions of the poster due to exposure to moisture. It has several pinholes around the edges (some are torn or enlarged due to rough removal) and there is some red ink pen writing on the back that slightly bleeds through to the front at lower right (in Cummins' shirt and it is slightly exacerbated by the moisture) and there is some separation in the lower right edge of the lower horizontal fold that has been repaired with tape from the back. Despite the above defects, the poster image is mostly "all there" and after linenbacking with some proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
