An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Gunman From Bodie, the 1941 Spencer Gordon Bennet cowboy western starring The Rough Riders (Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, and Raymond Hatton), Silver the Horse, Christine McIntyre, Dave O'Brien, and Robert Frazer. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
