An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Belita (born Maria Belita Jepson-Turner) was a former Olympic ice skater and actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She competed in the 1936 Olympics at 12 years old, and she appeared in several Republic movies that involved ice skating, and later in some non-ice skating dramatic roles. Some of her movies include: Never Let Me Go, The Gangster, and Silver Skates. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Belita (it was also hand signed by the photographer, Constantine, at lower left)! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
