Turell Hollywood movie sexploitation documentary ("A look at love and the beauties who made it an art!"; "The story of sex in the movies!"; produced and written by Saul Turell) featuring archive footage of Gary Cooper, Clara Bow, Elizabeth Taylor, Theda Bara, Hedy Lamarr, Brigitte Bardot, Montgomery Clift, Rita Hayworth, Louise Brooks, and Marilyn Monroe (of course, Marilyn was well covered in this documentary, especially because she had passed away just three years before). Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an Italian photobusta from this movie before, and it is very fortunate that the one we are auctioning has a color image of Louise Brooks! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 18 1/4" x 26 1/2" [46 x 67 cm]. Condition: fair to good. The photobusta has light water staining on the back of the right 4-5" of the poster, but it is not very noticeable from the front at all. The poster has many creases and ripples throughout, likely due to exposure to moisture. It has a tear in the right of the bottom border that has a piece of tape on the back and punch holes that form numbers in the extreme left of the solid blue area. It appears that the top border was slightly trimmed, but we don't have another one to compare it to, even one with a different image. This is the sort of poster that responds well to restoration. It is likely that some or most of the light water staining, creases, and ripples can be removed through the backing process, and afterwards, the poster will display well, but bear in mind its defects and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
