Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had darkened somewhat in the blank borders, and there were some tiny creases scattered around the edges of the poster (including some in Monroe's forehead and Olivier's head), and there was a crease in Olivier's cheek. There were next-to-no creases at all in the central part of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and the linenbacking minimized the above creases, to where they are really not at all distracting.
