An Original 1954 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78" [140 x 198 cm]) (Learn More) The Caddy, the 1953 Norman Taurog golfing sports screwball comedy ("Now they're goofy golfers... runnin' wild in high society!"; "Story by Danny Arnold") starring Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Donna Reed, Barbara Bates, Joseph Calleia, Fred Clark, and many of the top professional golfers of the day, appearing in cameos as themselves: Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Julius Boros, Jimmy Thomson, and 'Lighthorse' Harry Cooper! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Giuliano Nistri Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, scuffs, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some foldlines. It had pinholes and tears around the edges. It had a rectangular snipe over the middle left of the poster that is no longer there, but it caused the poster to darken unevenly. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
