An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Bluebeard, the 1944 Edgar G. Ulmer serial killer horror thriller ("Original Story by Arnold Phillips and Werner H. Furst"; about an artist in Paris, France who hires portrait models, and after he finishes their portraits, he strangles them) starring John Carradine, Jean Parker, Nils Asther, Ludwig Stossel, George Pembroke, and Teala Loring NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster was folded once in each direction and there were scuffs and surface paper loss along both foldlines. There were several noticeable creases scattered in the image and many scuffs in the solid colored areas. There were tears, creases, and pieces of tape around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
